HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO OUR PLACE TO VISIT AS WE GET READY FOR THE KIMBERLY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1976 THIRTY FIVE YEAR REUNION!
The dates are July 15,16,and 17,2011 and will be the one you won't want to miss!
By now, most of you will have received the itinerary by US Mail and also by email.
We wanted to utilize all avenues to contact everyone to be sure no one has an excuse
to miss what promises to be our biggest and best one yet.
We are launching this blog now so that you will make it a priority to make the necessary arrangements and plan to attend, so fill out the registration form, write a check, and mail it today!
We will update you frequently as the planning committee continues to meet and finalizes all the cool details. Our next meeting is at Zulu's After Dark on June 6, 2011 for all you locals that can make it.

Another five years have passed by and your faithful reunion committee has planned some fun stuff! The dates are July 15-17, 2011. You will notice that this is less than two months away! HELPFUL HINT #1 – DO NOT FILE THIS INVITATION AWAY. INSTEAD, MAKE PLANS NOW TO ATTEND! FILL THIS OUT IMMEDIATELY AND RETURN WITH YOUR CHECK. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
Friday, July 15th 5:30PM: Rod & Vicki Malone’s home in Eden (1697 E 1100 S). Bring finger foods, beverages, and lawn chairs. We will all sit around their fire pit and get reacquainted.
Saturday, July 16th 9:00-11:30AM: Nine hole golf scramble at Pleasant Valley Golf Course, six miles south of Kimberly (3504 N 3195 E). $25.00 per person includes cart. This activity is for everyone regardless of your playing ability. Don’t worry if you don’t own golf clubs as you will be teamed with someone who will share theirs with you (hopefully). Indicate your skill level on the registration form.
Saturday, July 16th 4:00-6:00PM: Social hour at Java Jungle/Zulu’s After Dark, a quaint little gathering place to relax and reminisce. The location is 1970 Addison Ave. East, Twin Falls (across from Smith’s Food and Drug). Time for a cool beverage after a fun day of golf.
Saturday, July 16th 6:00PM: Dinner at Rosenau’s Community Room catered by Vicki Archabal’s Fine Dining. (2826 Addison Ave. East, Twin Falls) The menu will include delicious prime rib, tender chicken, succulent shrimp, or you may order a combination plate of two of these entrees. (Cash tip for the caterer is at your discretion; give to Randy Givens at the event).
Sunday July 17th Brunch – time and location to be announced.
Please bring your camera and your memories and help us make this reunion a very special one. Your reunion committee includes Randy and Trudy Wirth Givens, Bonnie Pinkston Johnson, Paula Lyne Weeks, Jerry Clements, Alan Larson, Darwin Chaffin, Shane Prescott, Vicki Posey Malone, Steve Fullmer, Curtis Vincent, and Scotty Claiborn.

I want to thank the rest of the reunion planners at this time for their dedicated hard work in putting this together.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of scramble... Why don't you scramble around right now and get your registration in for the biggest event since Woodstock? Do you realize that this is one of the only events that you can register late for and not be charged a ridiculously high late fee? So, what are you waiting for? Our operators are standing by...

We are still receiving a few responses here in the last week before the reunion. Some of the other older and younger classes have expressed interest in joining up with us for a mega reunion in the future. Maybe we can talk about it at our function. Also, we have heard from other schools that our reunions are longer (four functions rather than the usual one or two) and we don't charge as much as they do. So, in the words of that great salesman, Darwin Chaffin, we offer the VALUE ADDED REUNION AT A REDUCED PRICE!
